Why it
exists.
I tried a bunch of music tools for my League sessions. None of them felt right.
I play a lot of League, and music is half the session. I tried alt-tabbing to Spotify, second-monitor players, desktop widgets and other overlays. They were clunky, ugly, or broke the second the game took over the screen. Every skip cost me a few seconds of the game.
So I built the one I actually wanted. One key and it's there: what's playing, a skip button, and it's gone before the next fight. Of everything I've used, it's the easiest and most convenient.
I wanted it to feel like a piece of hardware bolted onto your screen. The sounds it makes when it opens and closes are my own voice, recorded and shaped in Adobe Audition. No stock sound packs, just me in front of a mic making tape-deck noises until they sounded right.
